EL MÉS CALENT ÉS A L'AIGÜERA
“El més calent és a l’’aigüera”. Exposición colectiva en la Fundación Felicia Fuster

Este refrán catalán se usa para decir que todo está por hacer. El colectivo expone procesos creativos con sus dudas pertinentes surgidas al finalizar la carrera de Bellas Artes. Es el hecho de pararse a reflexionar como un acto productivo y necesario.
Mi proyecto, directamente relacionado con el anteriormente expuesto en la galería H2o, trata sobre el proceso cíclico de observar, conservar y, a posteriori, denunciar un hecho mediante un acto o pieza artística. Creo que el hecho de hablar sobre aquello considerado correcto o incorrecto ya supone una represión muy interesante, al jugar con el límite de aquello que es ético o no.
Escena in-mòvil es una reflexión a partir del arte de la taxidermia sobre la muerte y los rituales que se generan. Esta técnica reduce el animal al formato de sus pieles, separándolas de su carne.Por lo tanto, se crea un nuevo simbolismo donde el cuerpo se convierte en objeto, mostrando nuestra predilección humana de intentar atrapar aquello que no podemos dominar. En definitiva, Escena in-mòvil es el deseo de investigar y manipular vestigios concretos para crear un imaginario a partir de un encuentro accidental.

“El més calent és a l’aigüera” is a catalan proverb that means: nothing is finished, new things will come up, everything is to be done yet. The collective exposed creative processes with their pertinent doubts we had when we finished the Fine Arts degree. It’s the fact of thinking and reflect as a productive and necessary act.
My project, directly related to the previously exposed in the H2o gallery, deals with the cyclical process of observing, preserving and, afterwards, denouncing a fact through an act or artistic piece. In my opinion, talking about what is considered right or wrong is already a very interesting repression, playing with the limit of what is ethical or not.
Escena in-mòvil (2019) is a reflection based on the taxidermy art, death and the rituals around it. This technique reduces the animal to its skin, separating them from its own meat. Therefore, a new symbolism is created when the body becomes an object, showing our human predilection to try to keep what we can’t control. Escena in-mòvil is the desire of research and manipulate specific vestiges to create an imaginary from an accidental encounter.
