UNHEALTHY (2019) no se ha expuesto en ninguna galería ya que fue un proyecto rechazado.
La instalación expone una problemática que afecta a muchos hogares. Basándome en el cáncer de seno multifocal de mi madre, surge la necesidad de exponer de una manera ordenada el dolor y la enfermedad a partir de dos piezas. Como si de un cuento en el que aparece un animal herido se tratase, con el uso del spray muestro un animal difuso y herido enzima de una sábana (80 x 190 cm) directamente clavada a la pared, simbolizando la zona de reposo y de letargo.
Siempre ha resultado más fácil representar actos humanos mediante el bestiario, y este ha sido usado para enseñar a los más pequeños aquello que es o no es correctamente moral mediante los cuentos. Es por dicha cuestión que el cocodrilo me ha servido para exponer algo que duele enseñándolo de una manera aceptada y no tan directa.
Por otra parte, muestro tres scanners en los que se aprecian pelos revueltos de su primera quimioterapia, inmortalizando el acto doloroso de cortar con algo, dotándose de unas formas que recuerdan a entes microscópicos propios de alguna patología.

The installation exposes a problem that affects many homes. Based on my mother's multifocal breast cancer, the need to expose the pain and the disease arised in two pieces. I created a visual tale, where an injured animal appears. Using a spray can as technique, I show a wounded animal painted on a sheet (80 x 190 cm) directly nailed to the wall, symbolizing the resting and lethargy zone.
It has always been easier to represent human acts through the bestiary, and this has been used to teach the little ones what is or is not correctly moral through stories. For this reason the crocodile has served to expose something that hurts by teaching it in a not so direct way.
On the other hand, I show three scanners with the falling hair from her first chemotherapy session, immortalizing the painful act of ending something, providing shapes that remind us microscopic entities of a pathology.
